Player Personnel Report: VT Game

Below is the player personnel report from the Virginia Tech game.

QB: Stephen Morris started and finished the game.

RB: Mike James started and had 15 carries. Duke Johnson came off the bench and had 11. Dallas Crawford was on the field for a couple of snaps and even attempted a throw on a halfback pass. Maurice Hagens started and finished the game at fullback.

WR: Phillip Dorsett and Allen Hurns started the game and each finished with two catches. Rashawn Scott led the team with three. Kendal Thompkins, Davon Johnson, and Herb Waters also saw action but didn't catch any passes.

TE: Clive Walford and Dyron Dye both started the game in a two-tight end set. Walford had a couple catches. Dye didn't have any was but was targeted twice, including once in the endzone. Asante Cleveland and David Perry played but didn't see any passes.

OL: The starters from L-R were Malcolm Bunche, Jonathan Feliciano, Shane McDermott, Brandon Linder, and Seantrel Henderson. Jeremy Lewis (LG) was the first off the bench. Ereck Flowers (RT) was next.

DE: Anthony Chickillo and Shayon Green were the starters at end. Tyriq McCord and Jalen Grimble also played. Olsen Pierre and Earl Moore were the starters at tackle. Curtis Porter, Luther Robinson, Dequan Ivery, and Corey King played off the bench.

LB: Jimmy Gaines started in the middle; Gionni Paul and Eddie Johnson on the outside. Denzel Perryman played some off the bench until he got injured. Tyrone Cornileus, Thurston Armbrister, and Raphael Kirby also played off the bench.

DB: Brandon McGee and Ladarius Gunter were the starters at cornerback; Deon Bush and A.J. Highsmith at safety. Thomas Finnie, Tracy Howard, and Antonio Crawford played off the bench at corner, while Kacy Rodgers, Rayshawn Jenkins, and Vaughn Telemaque came off the bench at safety.

ST: Jake Wieclaw kicked; Dalton Botts punted; Duke Johnson returned kicks; and Dorsett returned punts.
