Kehoe talks OL heading into final 2 games

Read on to see what coach Kehoe has to say about the offensive line and the challenges that the team will face going into the last games of the year.

Q: How do you keep your guys focused and not thinking about the loss?
A: We're not even talking about that. We're trying to win the ACC coastal division, and that's been our goal since last year. We're trying to win the coastal division, which these guys have never done, and we got a good shot of winning it. We're trying to win this game Saturday and the one next Saturday and take care of our business.

Q: Can you take us back to the last offensive series, during the running play?
A: We're trying to win a game, and, you know, you work so hard at practice in the four minute offense and trying to make the first down and put the game away. We had our opportunities, and it was like take a turn. One guy took a turn and then another guy took a turn, and it's just really frustrating. We're just not where we should be yet, but we're getting there. We did a lot of good things in that game, we just didn't finish it right. It's a terrible things, because I felt bad for the players and the coaches and they worked so hard and got so close, and they didn't get it done.

Q: Which linemen are consistently grading out the best?
A: I'd say Shane McDermott and Brandon Linder . Bunche had a real good game. They've all been pretty steady. I think Seantrel has improved tremendously, but he's not where we want him yet. But he's getting there. I just like what they're doing. They've become a cohesive group, and they're trying to play hard and communicate better and avoid any real mental errors. We've had more mentals [last game] than we've normally have. But that's been a low total for the year, and I think we've done a good job with it. I like where they're headed and I think we're going to play good this week. I'm excited about the challenge, because South Florida is really tough and they played us tough last year.
