"I think I played pretty good," said Campbell of his MVP performance. "We just had to come out as a team and execute and play hard."
Campbell says he has been working on two parts of his game specifically and that hard work definitely looked like it paid off.
"I have been working on my jump shot and my handle," said Campbell. "That is all I have been working on every day."
Recruiting wise a handful of schools are firmly in the mix with Campbell.
Already Campbell has made visits to Georgetown, Penn State, St. Joe's, and VCU, and more could come as time goes on.
The Hoyas dispatched assistant coaches to watch him over the weekend, and Campbell says it is good to hear from Georgetown.
"It is real good to hear from them," said Campbell. "I like the school and I have been there on a visit, so that was good. They have a real good team, so it is good to hear from them."
Also Campbell liked what he saw when he took a trip to Penn State.
"Penn State's campus is beautiful," he explained. "It was real nice and I really liked that visit."
For now Campbell is in no hurry to pick a school, but he does know what is most important when that time does come.
"I first look at academics, and then I look if I will play right away," said Campbell. "Academics are most important."
