Q & A With WR Robert Timmons

A big receiver with tons of speed and a great work ethic. Robert comes across as an extremely honest and polite young man.

DG: "Robert, how's your summer been going?"

Robert: "It's been going real good."

DG: "Coach Mayes and I played against one another in high school. Where is he going to be playing you this season?"

Robert: "At wide receiver and some at running back."

DG: "And in college?"

Robert: "Wide receiver."

DG: "Give me your current height, weight and 40-speed."

Robert: "I'm 6-2, 205 and run a 4.46."

DG: "Bench and squat?"

Robert: "I have a 305 bench and 425 squat."

DG: "I was told you made a 16 on the ACT. You just need a little more."

Robert: "Yes sir, and I'm going to make it too."

DG: "I had you at 13 catches for 305 yards and five touchdowns last year in only two games."

Robert: "I had 359 yards instead of 305."

DG: "Who are the schools you're looking at?"

Robert: "Miami, Florida State, Texas and Tennessee."

DG: "Who has offered?"

Robert: "Texas and Tennessee have. FSU and Miami want to see me play first."

DG: "Did you attend any summer camps?"

Robert: "No sir."

DG: "Do you have a particular favorite?"

Robert: "No sir, not right now."

DG: "Thanks Robert. I'll be up to see you, probably for the Turner game. I know Michael Hawkins is already talking about the match up."

Robert: (Laughing) "Oh really, I believe I've heard something about that."
