DB Myron Burton Profile
It was the second trip to Tigertown for Myron Burton, who made a visit to Clemson earlier this summer for a baseball tournament.
He spoke with CUTigers shortly after watching the Tigers beat the Wolfpack.
"I liked it a lot. I liked the environment, it had a good feel about it," Burton said.
What stood out?
"How the team was focused when they were on the field for warm ups."
Along with his trip to Clemson, Burton also visited Georgia Tech this season.
"That went well. I really liked it," he said.
Burton hopes to also visit Georgia, Florida State, Alabama and Auburn.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete is receiving interest from several schools, but is still waiting to pick up his first offer. Schools are looking at him as a safety/wide receiver.
Clemson running backs coach Tony Elliott, who serves as the Tigers' primary recruiter for Burton, stopped by Peachtree Ridge earlier this month.
Assistants from several other schools, including UConn and Oregon also checked in on Burton.
As a junior, Burton rushed 11 times for 31 yards and caught 18 passes for 180 yards with a touchdown.
