Local WR unsure about Miami visit

Jordan Cunningham is a talented wide receiver prospect from The University School in south Florida. He talked about the latest with recruiting, his interest in Miami, and more.

Jordan Cunningham helped lead his team to a state championship on the field this season. He then spent a week in central Florida competing in the Under Armour All-American Game. He talked about what's next.

"Now that football is over I'm just working out, trying to stay in shape and just focusing on the recruiting process now," Cunningham said. "It's probably going to start getting pretty hectic now so that's what my focus is on."

Cunningham, 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, has already taken two of his five official visits. He has a third one lined up for next weekend.

"I enjoyed both of my visits so far to Stanford and Oklahoma State," he said. "I had a good time with the players and coaches, and have a lot of interest. I'm going to Vanderbilt on the 18th. I've been talking to them and they're a good school so I want to check them out."

Cunningham grew up a Miami fan, and has been by the school on a few different occasions throughout the recruiting process. He talked about his interest in the Hurricanes.

"I think Miami has a good team," he said. "Coach Golden seems like he has them moving in the right direction. I still talk to them, and I'm still interested but I don't have a visit set yet. I'm not sure if I'm going to visit them yet or not though. I gotta see what else happens."

The standout receiver finished his senior season with 53 catches for 817 yards and seven touchdowns.
