DE Dane Rogers Profile
Accompanied by his mom, dad and sister, the three-star defensive end gave the trip high marks.
"I had a great time. Everything was everything. I really enjoyed myself, me and my family," Rogers told CUTigers on Sunday.
In Clemson, Rogers was reunited with his cousin, defensive tackle Carlos Watkins, who also served as his host.
"It was pretty much cousin to cousin talk," Rogers said. "We talked pretty much about how it is and what he does, what I'm going to be doing and reminiscing how we used to be back when we were [playing football together]."
What stood out the most about the weekend?
"The best thing about it was just hanging out with the guys, pretty much all the people that are coming back. The whole defensive line, I hung out with them. We were pretty much just getting to know each other, telling me what I need to know."
Rogers' Sunday meeting with Swinney went well, too.
"It was great. That guy is the man after that LSU game," Rogers said. "He was really honored that I stayed with my commitment.
"He just can't wait for me to enroll, can't wait for this defense to be stronger and stronger by the day, to come in and be dedicated, committed and be ready for Georgia."
The No. 59 defensive end in the class of 2013 weighed in on the official visitors that are not committed to Clemson.
"Just like me, they were just trying to enjoy themselves. Hopefully, that will official visit will encourage them to be a part of us," Rogers said. "I wasn't trying to ask anybody if they were coming to Clemson. If you're on an official visit, that means a lot. There are other schools that you could be at official visits, but they chose to come here."
Rogers enjoys official experience
