Plenty of schools are making contact with Humble (TX) Summer Creek quarterback Aaron Sharp, but he still only has the one offer in hand from UTEP.

But no worries on his end as he is confident that he will have quite a few more programs will be stepping up this off season to extend offers. In the meantime, Sharp will be making a few trips this spring to check out a number of these programs.

"Things are going pretty good right now. I'm getting a lot of looks," Sharp said. "I've been invited to Texas A&M junior day and Oklahoma junior day."

The 6-foot-3, 187-pound Sharp said that the Sooner junior day is set for January 24 while the A&M one has not had a date set. Sharp said that he spoke with assistant coach Clarence McKinney and a date had not yet been set for the junior day.

Still, Sharp holds the lone offer from UTEP, but said that recently some interest has been coming on strong from Boise State.

"The (BSU) coaches looked at my film and really liked it. They told me they like how I am cool under pressure," Sharp said. "They told me that I am the type of quarterback they are looking for."

This past season, Sharp threw for 3,058 yards, 38 touchdowns to only six interceptions. He also had just over 180 yards on the ground and three scores.
