Miami's Chances (1/25)

Lets take an updated look at Miami's chances with its remaining targets, just a day after James Coley was named offensive coordinator.

Note: We will update this list every few days leading up to National Signing Day.

QB Kevin Olsen -- Miami 100
RB Ray Lewis -- Miami 100
RB Alex Collins -- Miami 65, Arkansas 35 UPDATE: Just by adding an offensive coordinator that likely won't be nearly as pass-happy as Jedd Fisch was, Miami's chances have gone up a bit. Coley was part of the reason why Collins was considering Florida State at one point. This continues to trend in a positive direction for Miami, but the visit to Arkansas will be huge this weekend.

RB Augustus Edwards -- Syracuse 50, Florida State 30, Miami 20

UPDATE: Rutgers canceled his visit, which was scheduled for this weekend. They seem to be off his list now. The Syracuse commitment is set to see Miami in two weeks, and Miami's chances have improved a bit with Rutgers moving in a different direction.

RB Peyton Barber -- Ole Miss 85, Tennessee 10, Miami 5
WR Stacy Coley -- Florida State 55, Miami 40, Ole Miss 5
WR Jordan Cunningham -- Vanderbilt 40, Stanford 40, Oklahoma State 15, Miami 5
TE Beau Sandland -- Miami 100
TE Standish Dobard -- Miami 100
TE Nate Wozniak -- Purdue 45, Miami 35, Minnesota 30

UPDATE: Wozniak visited Purdue last weekend and will see Minnesota this weekend. He really likes Miami, and has almost committed at times, but distance could play a key factor. That's likely what it'll come down to. He plans to decide soon after his Minnesota visit.

OL Hunter Knighton -- Miami 100
OL Sunny Odogwu -- Miami 100
OL Alex Gall -- Miami 100
OL Denver Kirkland -- Miami 65, Florida State 10, Arkansas 10, Ole Miss 10, USF 5

UPDATE: Kirkland's primary recruiter at Florida State, who has been Miami's main competition all year, was James Coley. He's now at Miami, and so Kirkland's chances of coming here have gone up.

DE Alquadin Muhammad -- Miami 100
DE Devante Bond -- Miami 100
DE Justin Madison -- Iowa State 35, Wake Forest 35, Miami 30

UPDATE: The Canes just offered today, and he's on a visit to Iowa State. He said that he still plans on visiting Wake Forest next weekend, so those two schools have to still be considered strong possibilities. If he actually schedules (and later takes) the visit to Miami, the chances for the Canes should go way up. He is a high academic kid, so don't sleep on Wake Forest here. We will know a lot more after he returns from his Iowa State trip this weekend.

DT Keith Bryant -- Florida State 50, Miami 40, Tennessee 10
DT Jaynard Bostwick -- Miami 50, Florida 30, Alabama 20
DT Ufomba Kamalu -- Miami 100
LB Alex Figueroa -- Miami 100
LB Matthew Thomas -- Miami 45, Alabama 40,
Florida State 8, USC 5, Georgia 2

UPDATE: His primary recruiter at Florida State, James Coley, will now be trying to convince him to be a Hurricane. FSU was a distant third before the Coley switch, but Miami now has two coaches who have been his primary recruiter for a couple years now (Coley and Micheal Barrow). That has to increase Miami's chances a bit over Alabama.

LB Jermaine Grace -- Miami 85, Louisville 10, Tennessee 5
LB Yannick Ngakoue -- Maryland 30, South Carolina 25, Florida State 25, Miami 20
CB Artie Burns -- Miami 100
CB Rashard Robinson -- LSU 52, Miami 48

UPDATE: Robinson took in Miami's basketball game on Wednesday night, so he continues showing a lot of interest in the Canes. It's a battle right now that could go either way. He remains committed to LSU but Miami seems to be right on the verge of flipping him.

S Jamal Carter -- Miami 100
