The strong start for the Hurricanes is getting noticed by a lot of people on the national level, especially after their blowout win over top-ranked Duke last week.
Miami is now ranked 14th in the Associated Press Top 25, and they're now ranked 15th in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Those are the highest rankings for Miami since they were 13th and 11th, respectively, in those two polls back in 2002.
Miami was 25th the last time the rankings were released, which means they made a jump of 11 spots in the AP rankings. That ties for the fifth largest jump in NCAA history.
Their appearance in the Coaches Poll marks the first time that's happened since December of 2008.
The Hurricanes have reached the top 10 in both polls just once in school history -- back in March of 1999. If they're able to win a couple more games in a row, that could change.
