"I'm thinking about making the right decision and making sure I don't regret it and just looking at every school," he said.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound linebacker said there is plenty to like about each of his final four.
"I liked Florida State growing up, I liked The U too, but I like Florida State, I could go there and play early, be with a bunch of Miami guys and just play," he said.
"(I'd go to) Alabama to get developed for the next level and to win a championship."
"USC, I could experience something different on the other side of the country and to play some good ball and they have a good educational system too."
"Miami, I could play at home in front of friends and family and get the opportunity to play early, plus it's a really good school academically."
Thomas has maintained throughout the whole process that he's looking for the place he feels most comfortable and can have an opportunity to make an early impact. More than anything, it's about that gut feeling for him. In the end, he'll make his own decision, but he's getting help from others in the process.
"I've been talking to my mom a lot and my little brothers and stuff, seeing what they have to say. They help me out a little bit, give me their opinions," he said.
"They name schools and bring up things I should look at, stuff like that."
Thomas is confident he'll have his mind made up by Tuesday night. If he doesn't, he said he won't sign until he is sure. Stay tuned to FOX Sports NEXT for all the latest.
