Six of the remaining nine did not take any other visits after they committed to the Hurricanes -- QB Kevin Olsen, RB Ray Lewis, TE Ryheem Lockley, OL Alex Gall, DE Devante Bond, and DT Ufomba Kamalu. Those were rock solid commitments ever since they happened.
Three others -- CB Artie Burns, S Jamal Carter, and DE Alquadin Muhammad -- visited other schools even after they committed to Miami. Burns and Carter took theirs way back during the season. The most recent was Muhammad to Rutgers last weekend. All three are still expected to ink with the Hurricanes.
At least eight others, who remain uncommitted, are considering signing with the Hurricanes tomorrow. A ninth is committed to an SEC school but has been considering the Canes recently.
WR Stacy Coley will choose between Florida State and Miami. FSU has had the edge all along, and is expected to land him tomorrow.
OL Denver Kirkland says he's down to Miami, Arkansas, and Florida State. Just a few days ago, his coach said Miami had dropped him. At the time, Miami was his choice. If that offer remains on the table, expect him to be a Cane. If not, Arkansas is my pick.
DT Terell Brooks is a Juco prospect from Texas. He's choosing between Miami, Baylor, and Kansas State. He'll likely stay out West.
DT Keith Bryant is choosing between Miami, FSU, and South Carolina. The one-time Hurricane commitment could go either way. My guess is Miami.
DT Jaynard Bostwick is choosing between Miami and Florida. He visited the Gators most recently, so they're my guess.
LB Matthew Thomas is probably the top prospect left on the board. He's choosing between Miami, Alabama, and Florida State. I've said Miami all along, and I'm not about to change now.
LB Jermaine Grace is expected to sign with Miami over Louisville.
CB Rashard Robinson has been committed to LSU for awhile now, and despite a recent push from the Canes he's expected to become a Tiger.
