NSD Predictions

National Signing Day has arrived. Eight players on the Big Board remain uncommitted heading into the final hours. Here are Mike's predictions.

RB Augustus Edwards (7 am) -- Miami
The Canes weren't able to get Alex Collins. However, they will likely get Edwards, whose primary recruiter at Florida State was new UM offensive coordinator James Coley.

WR Stacy Coley (10 am) -- Florida State
Miami gave it a good run, and having former UM running back Donnell Bennett as his coach had to have helped. However, the Noles never seemed to lose their edge.

OL Denver Kirkland (9:20 am) -- Arkansas
If the Hurricanes were going to sign him, and that's something he wanted to do, then last week's situation would not have happened. His coach is very good friends with Arkansas assistant coach Randy Shannon.

DT Keith Bryant (1:30 pm) -- Miami
The long-time Miami commitment visited Florida State in January and that's what my gut says here. However, most of the time a kid has a chance to sign with the school he grew up rooting for, he will. In this case, that's Miami for Bryant.

DT Jaynard Bostwick (8 am) -- Florida
The Hurricanes were in good shape for a good part of the year for this four-star prospect. However, he visited Florida with his father on the last weekend and everything went well. That means signs are pointing toward the Gators.

LB Matthew Thomas (9:15 am) -- Miami
The most talented player left on the board, Thomas has done a great job handling the entire process. He took his visits, never indicated any favorites, and will now make a final pick between UM, FSU, and Alabama. The Canes have two coaches who have been recruiting him for two years. In the end, they win out because of it.

LB Jermaine Grace (2 pm) -- Miami
The Hurricanes have been recruiting him for two years now. There is a very strong relationship. Despite a recent surge from Louisville, Miami seems to be in great shape.

CB Rashard Robinson (9 am) -- LSU
The three-star corner prospect has been committed to LSU for several months now. Miami made a late run but it'll probably come up short.
