Signing Day Profile: OL Sunny Odogwu

It's official. OL Sunny Odogwu has signed with the Miami Hurricanes. Read on to learn more about him.

Player: OT Sunny Odogwu

School: Chatham (Va) Hargrave Military Academy

Recruiting: Odogwu was recruited by Miami out of high school last year. He never signed with anyone, and enrolled in Prep School instead to work on his grades. He took visits to Texas A&M and Mississippi State this year before visiting Miami and pledging to the Canes in December.

Scouting Report: Odogwu is the biggest player in Miami's recruiting class this year at 6-foot-8 and 310 pounds. He has length, athleticism, balance, flexibility, all of it. He has some experience playing on defense, too. He has the physical skills to become a very good one. – Mike Bakas

2012 season: Odogwu played left tackle at the prep school level in 2012. He turned in a very good season, one good enough that got a lot of schools chasing after his signature.

Mike's Take: Odogwu is fairly new to the game of football. He's only been playing for a few years. Because of that, he's still learning in a lot of ways. It's always good to get kids like that into school early, like they were able to do here. He has a great personality. He seems coachable. All the physical skills are there. I think he's one of the most underrated players in this year's class.
