Jackson talks weekend unofficial visit

Garden (Calif.) Serra defensive back Adoree Jackson took an unofficial visit to UCLA over the weekend and said the visit moved the Bruins up his list.

Adoree Jackson is the top cover corner in the region for the class of 2014 and has a chance to be the top overall prospect in the west as well.

"I had a great visit to UCLA and really liked it a lot," Jackson said. "I had never spent a lot of time on the campus before so it was cool to tour the place, hang out with the coaches and even watch some film. We also got to go to the basketball game and that was a real fun atmosphere as well.

"The best part was definitely hanging out with all the coaches. Coach Mora, Martin and Klemm all spent a lot of time with me and those are some great guys. I've heard a lot of great things about all of them and it's cool that they're showing me how bad they want me and how much of a priority I am for them. Klemm and Martin will be my two lead recruiters and I know those are their two best so that shows me a lot."

Jackson never mentioned UCLA much in the past and always seemed to talk most about LSU and USC. Did the weekend visit to Westwood improve the Bruins chances?

"Yeh for sure it did," Jackson said. "They're real high on my list right now but I'm still evaluating everyone. I don't plan to make an early decision, I would love to actually go through the process and take all five of my visits if I can. I'm going to visit a few more schools in the spring and summer but I don't have anything set up right now.

"I know I'll be going to the NIKE Camp in March and I'm hoping to make it out to The Opening as well. That's a big goal for me but other than that, I'm wide open in terms of my summer plans."
