"I look at the recruiting stuff a little bit, but I will be paying more attention to it as a senior," Thomas admitted recently. "I have a lot of great offers, and I would say that Florida State, Miami and LSU are sticking out the most to me right now."
"Those three are all top programs, and it's hard to separate them, to be honest," he added. "Distance from home won't be a factor for me at all, and I'm in no hurry to make a decision. I'm probably going to wait until the very end and see what program I feel is best for me. Miami is the only school I've visited so far, and I've been there for a game and for a junior day, which were both great. I don't really have any visits planned in the next few months. I will wait and take official visits next season."
He was quite candid in accessing his play as a junior, and stated he is focused on improving every facet of his game going forward.
"My play last year was alright, and in the beginning I was not playing to my potential, but by the end of the season I really stepped up my play," he explained. "I think I got better as a leader of my team, and that enabled me to play the game the way I'm supposed to play it."
"My goal this off-season is to gain weight the right way, and improve my ability to get off the line with the snap of the ball," he continued.
