QB Alin Edouard -- I'd say 6-2. He has a cannon and really likes to use it. He likes throwing deep, and can. In 7on7, you don't get to see a QB's athleticism. His mechanics are solid. He's been well-coached. His teammates look at him as a leader. The area he needs most work right now, to me, is going through his progressions. Defenders know where it's going, and a few told me that today. That will likely improve over time. He was a bit more impressive than I expected, so I was pleased. He was wearing a Canes hat, talking up UM. It's where he wants to be, without a doubt.
WR Kendrick Edwards -- Norland kid. 6-5, and does a much better job of using it than when I saw him last summer. Miami wants him, and he has a lot interest.
TE Ravian Pierce -- Plantation kid who has an offer from the Canes. He was solid. Very physically ready but probably only 6-2. The best tight end prospect here is 6-5/220 Devonaire Clarington (Southridge), who's only a sophomore. Big time upside. Remember the name.
LB Kain Daub -- Miami has offered but he's not real interested. He's an incredible prospect. 6-3, 225. 3-down linebacker. Size, physical, outstanding athlete, everything. Top 5 kid for sure at a need position but Jacksonville's always been tough.
LB Richard Yeargin -- U School. 6-4, 210, can cover. Athletic. Lots of recent offers, including FSU. He says the Canes aren't recruiting him nearly as hard as the others, and they haven't offered yet. I think it's only a matter of time in a year where UM will need 'backers and they need to get bigger there.
There were almost 20 teams from several different states. The kids in Florida are from all over the state. And the apparel kids were wearing the most, by far, was UM. I saw a few FSU/Fla hats and wristbands but nothing like the amount wearing UM gear.
