WR Saeed Blacknall Profile
Manalapan High School [Englishtown, N.J.] junior Saeed Blacknall recently spoke with CUTigers about the Tigers.
"The staff likes me. They like how I play and everything. I'm really excited about [the offer]," he said.
Blacknall is still learning about Clemson.
"As far as the college goes, I don't really know too much about it…so I plan on learning a lot more about it as we go forth through the process," he said.
Boston College, Cal, UConn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Pitt, Rutgers and Wisconsin are among the schools that have also offered.
"I'm wide-open, looking at everybody. I'm looking at all the schools. I'm waiting to say I like this college better than this one. When I get out, that's when I can say it."
Blacknall will hit the road later this month. He'll swing through the southeast March 25-27, making stops at Clemson, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss.
The instate school, Rutgers, certainly is an option.
"With Rutgers, obviously, it's close to home. That's one of the best things that you can offer in a college. I like what they're doing down there…I have a lot of interest in Rutgers," he said.
Distance from home won't be much of a factor, so he's entertaining the option of leaving his native area.
"Far colleges like Clemson, or even further like California, I feel like if it comes down to it, it's wherever I feel comfortable," Blacknall said.
As a junior, he had 40 catches, 743 yards receiving and 16 total touchdowns.
