Georgia LB gets Miami offer

The Hurricane coaches have been active in their recruiting efforts in the state of Georgia this year. Another player was just offered from the Peach State. Read on to learn more about him.

D'Andre Walker

6-3/210 OLB/DE from Hughes HS in Fairburn, GA

He projects as an outside linebacker in college, and seems to be well suited to play on the edge in a 3-4 defense.

"I see myself as a defensive end, but in the 3-4 schemes I could be an outside linebacker. I think I could make that move if I worked on it, but I am all about playing end and rushing the quarterback too. As long as I have a chance to rush the quarterback I will play any position."

He finished his sophomore season with just over 100 tackles and 20 sacks, so he's very active coming off the edge.

North Carolina was his first offer earlier this year, followed by Georgia. Since then he's added a bunch more including Florida State and now Miami. UGA was his dream school growing up so they'll likely be the team to beat moving forward.
