The 6-5, 280-pounder expounded on his thoughts about Arkansas and Southern Miss.
"Arkansas, they're going to run a lot with their new coaching staff," he explained. "My coach at O.P. Walker said I'd be a good player for them because I'm a big guy, and that it would be a good fit for me. I plan on visiting this summer.
"I went to junior day at Southern Miss and like their family environment. Coach John Simon...man, he's a really good coach. I have a relationship with him."
Anderson began his varsity career with the Bonnabel Bruins in Kenner before joining the Chargers in Algiers (located on the West Bank of New Orleans).
"I play both ways now but will go to college as a left offensive tackle," he said. "Last season went really well, even though I had to sit out the first five games after transferring from Bonnabel."
The junior thrives when facing elite competition.
"On the first play of my highlight play," he said, "you can see me drive (five-star DE) Gerald Willis 15 yards down the field and pancake him.
"Two or three weeks ago at the Atlanta Nike Football Training Camp, I took down one of the best pass rushers in (five-star DE) Lorenzo Carter. I won two head-to-head matchups and he won two."
He'd like to add offers from Alabama, Florida and Florida State.
