This wide receiver prospect says the Hurricanes just offered him, and that he's hopeful of visiting here soon. Read on to learn more about him as a prospect.

Jeff Farrar told Scout that Miami offered him today.

6-0/195 WR prospect from Upland High in Cal.

Some schools are recruiting him as a WR, some at CB, some at safety, and some as an athlete. He missed five games due to an injury last season but still finished the season with 27 tackles and seven interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns.

He ran a 4.8 at the US Army Combine and jumped 35 inches on the vert. He has the look of a Z receiver.

He told Scout way back in May of his sophomore season that his top three schools are USC, Oregon, and UCLA. He told Scout back in January that UCLA was his top school. He was at their game against USC at the end of the 2012 season. He also spent some time there during spring practice. He then visited Arizona State recently and picked up an offer from them.

With other offers from schools like UCLA, Arizona State, Arizona, Utah, and Washington State, he's being recruited like a 3-star prospect. He told Scout's Greg Biggins that he's hopeful of visiting Miami soon. When that happens is when we'll start to find out how serious he is about Miami.
