Final six for Florida OL

After taking unofficial visits to schools, developing relationships with coaches, and figuring out who could be the best fit for him, one of the top offensive linemen in the state of Florida narrowed his list down to six...

A long list of schools targeted Corey Martinez in their 2014 recruiting class, but only six are still on his list.

"I am down to Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt," Martinez told Scout.

Those are not only his top six, but officially his final six. Martinez said, "I see myself signing with one of those schools."

He has visited numerous schools and he plans to take a few more visits over the summer although none have been scheduled at this time.

The 6-foot-4, 290 pound offensive guard out of Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Catholic will look to make his decision before the end of 2013.

"Hopefully I will be ready to make my decision at the beginning of the season, but most likely it will be around the middle of the season," he said.

Martinez' list of schools are in no order. He views all of them the same way at this time.

Scout ranks Martinez as the No. 15 offensive guard in the country.
