Canes chasing FSU commit

This talented wide receiver is committed to Florida State, but Miami is still actively recruiting him. Read on for the latest...

JoJo Robinson is one of the top wide receiver prospects in the entire state of Florida in the 2014 class. With over a dozen scholarship offers, Robinson made an early commitment to Florida State and remains pledged to the Noles.

That never stopped Miami, or several other schools, from recruiting the talented receiver.

"I just want to play as a true freshman, receive a good education, and have a chance to win a national championship or play in a bowl game," said Robinson.

Robinson, 6-feet and 175 pounds, is still considering Miami.

"They offered me and I've been there before," he said. "I have a good relationship with the coaches, and I like what they're doing there. I'm definitely still considering Miami."

Robinson, who says he grew up a Canes fan, talked about some of the things he'll be looking for when making a final decision.

"I just want to showcase my talent and show everybody that I'm the best receiver and athlete in the nation," he said.

Robinson camped at Florida State earlier this month, and is still considering several other scholarship offers as well.
