Grier stands 6-foot-1 and says he weighed 215 at the start of two a day practices. Grier is a 4.55 kid in the 40, and has a perfect build for a will linebacker, a spot where he made 64 tackles, six sacks, and three interceptions from last season.
Your current core GPA: It's about a 2.9.
Your current test score: I haven't taken it yet (editor's note: Grier has already passed both sections of the HSCT).
Which schools called in May: Iowa, Auburn, Miami, Rutgers - those were most of them.
Have any schools sent a scholarship offer in the mail yet: No.
Who are your three favorite programs right now: Miami, Oklahoma, and Michigan.
What's Miami talking about: They're recruiting me. Coach Johnson told me he likes how I play and told me to keep doing what I'm doing.
Grier, who has a twin brother who plays the sam limebacker position on the same team, is definitely a kid to keep your eyes on. If he really has a 2.9 core and does well on his first test attempt, Grier's status as a prospect goes way up.
