Canes add another commitment

The Hurricanes added another commitment on Tuesday when one of the top linebacker prospects in south Florida announced for the Hurricanes.

Terry McCray decided to end the recruiting process today by making a commitment to the University of Miami.

McCray, 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, committed to the Hurricanes during an unofficial visit to the school today.

"McCray tells me he committed to Al Golden," said Scout.com's Amy Campbell. "Golden asked him how he felt about Miami and his passion for football, then asked if he wanted to commit."

One of the top linebacker prospects in South Florida, McCray is excited about his decision.

"I feel real good. We're going to be the team to beat. Fear the tie."

McCray also had scholarship offers from schools like Syracuse, West Virginia, USF, and Cincinnati.

Stay tuned for more news and analysis on this commitment.
