Dorsett feels much improved from 2012

Read on to see what junior wide receiver Phillip Dorsett is saying after the first four days of fall camp.

On fall camp:
I worked a lot in the offseason on lower body explosion and things like that. I'm just ready to come out here and show it on the field.

On improvement from 2012:
I feel like I'm a lot better. I've been working on speed, converting speed to breaking down and running better routes. I feel like I'm a much better receiver this year.

On being surprised at his 4.29 40:
Not really. I was messing with Swasey the whole time saying I was gonna run it.

On how it feels being the fastest player on the team:
It feels great. I came a long way and put a lot of hard work in. I've been running track and playing football my whole life. Conditioning is nothing to me. I increased my strength and I'm happy with it.

On last year's 40 time:
I ran a 4.3. I'm just happy I ran it and now I'm happy to get out here playing football. We have a lot of fast guys on this team. I just can't wait to showcase it.

On some key drops last season:
I put it behind me. I'm not going to say I'm glad it happened to me but I kinda am because it made me who I am now. It keeps you hungry. Bad things will happen. You have to move onto the next play, and can't worry about the past.
