Q&A with Nate Dortch

Read on to see what redshirt freshman cornerback Nate Dortch is saying after the first five days of fall camp.

On fall camp:
I think I've been doing good. I worked all summer and worked on my techniques.

On redshirting last year:
Coming in it was kinda hard but now everything is kinda clicking.

On his weight:
I weigh an average 168, 169. Last year I was 162. Before the first game I'm looking to be about 175.

On his recent 40 time:
I haven't really gotten my times but when I first got here, I ran a 4.54.

On the competition at corner:
It's tough but it's a healthy competition and it makes it a lot more fun.

On receivers who stand out:
That is a great group. I cant say anyone stands out. They have a lot of talent,, speed, and experience. They all have different characteristics.

On his side of the field:
I'm just on one particular side. It depends on which hash the ball is on. I got the boundary side. Ladarius Gunter is the starter. Artie Burns is doing a great job right now.
