Q&A with Quan Muhammad

Read on to see what true freshman defensive end Quan Muhammad is saying after the first week of fall camp.

On fall camp:
I'm just trying to play my role, not trying to take over everything and just coming in and playing my role. I gotta do what I gotta do.

On expectations of him:
Some people in the media, you hear different things but I don't pay mind to it.

On what his role may be:
My vision is basically is I might end up playing on third and fourth down as a pass rusher. That's fine with me. I'll be fresh and will be able to give my best pass rush.

On what he does well:
I can do a lot of things. I come off the ball real quick. I watch a lot of film and that helps. I'm already athletic and can play the game and study his footwork, see if he leans a lot, the way he gets off the ball. I study those types of things so I can have an advantage. I do research based on who I'm playing against.

On studying other tackles:
A lot of tackles aren't good on their feet, kinda slow. I'm real fast off the ball, and counter what they do.
