Golden previews tomorrow's scrimmage

Read on to see what head coach Al Golden is saying the day before the team's second fall scrimmage.

On Friday's scrimmage:
We will have crowd noise. They have to be thinkers out there. The offense has to get signals, play fast. It'll probably be 40, 50 plays each. Two nights ago it was nice at night so guys will be excited about that. We're two weeks out so we have to get a lot done.

On low completion percentage in the 1st scrimmage:
We gotta get it squared away fast. There is no excuse for it with the experience we have, the protection we're getting, and the type of quarterback we have. That has to be fixed. I'm worried about everything There is a lot of practice left between now and game week.

On the format for tomorrow:
We'll have orange on one side and white on the other. There is a sense of comfort with offense and defense. I'm looking at Linder, when they're on that side, the threes gotta be ready to go. Guys have to pay attention. The biggest thing, they learn how to go on the field in sub patterns.

On Preston Dewey:
He'll be with us shortly and we will respect his issue.

On DeAndre Johnson:
I like him. He has a lot to learn with our offense. He is very willing. He wants to be a great teammate. He's trying to get in on special teams. He has a good build. He's 196, 198 pounds. Guys like that are awesome to have on the team.

On Rashawn Scott's injury from yesterday:
I don't even know, maybe a foot injury. Unless it's significant, those guys will just work with the trainers. If we get a list of who needs to be with the trainers. He will be ready. They're working with the trainers, we're upstairs. If they're ready, they're ready.
