The Canes have ended fall camp. CanesTime's Mike Bakas provides some analysis on the fact that some experienced players seem to be falling behind.
Not counting the players who are starting their first seasons here, here is a list of players who still don't appear on the depth chart.
Gray Crow -- likely a career backup
Preston Dewey -- Golden says he's expected back but will it even matter?
Jontavious Carter -- likely a year or two away
D'Mauri Jones -- same as Carter
Jake O'Donnell -- will be a blocker only, and likely only used in jumbo sets when one of the top 3 gets hurt
Hunter Wells -- stretch when he was signed, and it seems like he's nowhere close
Taylor Gadbois -- likely a year away, at least
Danny Isidora -- injured, or else he would appear
David Perry -- often injured seems to be his problem
Dwayne Hoilett -- likely a year away, at least
Corey King -- He was in the rotation until Renfrow seems to have taken his place. He seems close.
Earl Moore -- not ready. Seems like a JAG.
Tyriq McCord -- The most talented kid on this list. Strange he's not listed somewhere. He won't play LB. He'll be a pass rushing specialist.
Jawand Blue -- I don't see him ever playing much here.
Larry Hope -- Depth is low at corner, and he's still never gotten into the rotation. It won't get easier when UM signs more CB's in the 2014 class.
