At 6-2 and 275, Matua is generally considered one of the top defensive linemen in the entire country. And his performance at the Stanford NIKE Camp this past Sunday proved that.

At 6-2 and 277, Matua ripped off a 4.92 forty-time at the camp, and did 34 reps on the 185-pound bench press.

Inside the classroom, Matua carries a 3.9 G.P.A. and is waiting for the results to come back from the test he took last month, he says.

As a junior last season, the L.A. (Calif) Banning star terrorized opposing quarterbacks with 10 quarterback sacks and six caused fumbles, and he also played as an offensive lineman.

Matua has scholarship offers from a number of schools, including Southern Cal, UCLA, California, Washington, Nebraska, and Notre Dame.

The talented defensive tackle says his top six consists of Southern Cal, UCLA, Miami, Nebraska, Florida, and Notre Dame.
