Miami won the game by the score of 21-16, and made a jump all the way to 15th in the national rankings. It's the highest the Hurricanes have been since October of 2010. It's the first time they've been ranked in the Al Golden era, and it's the first time a Golden team has ever been ranked among the top 25.
Florida dropped to 18th following the loss. 10th-ranked Florida State is Miami's only remaining regular season opponent currently ranked. Clemson, the ACC's highest ranked team, jumped over Ohio State and is now ranked 3rd.
The Hurricanes will be off this week, followed by a home game against Savannah State next Saturday.
