Another Star at Serra

Serra High School in Gardena, Calif. is home to some of the biggest names on the West Coast, including the No. 1 prospect on the West in the Class of 2014 Adoree Jackson. Jackson is joined by stars such as quarterback Jalen Greene (Boise State), linebackers Dwight Williams and John Houston, receiver Jordan Lasley (UCLA) and defensive lineman Rasheem Green among others.
In Serra's first game of the season against Desert Ridge, it was Olajuwon Tucker who was the standout player on defense trying to slow down Desert Ridge's dreaded double wing option offense.
Standing 6'3 and 230 pounds, Tucker has high school defensive end size with outside linebacker mobility. He put his hand down as a rush end at times and was comfortable dropping in to coverage. He part-timed at fullback, and his blocking alone would warrant a scholarship offer.
Tucker last reported scholarship offers from Arizona State, Colorado State, Miami, San Diego State, San Jose State, and Utah, but that was several months ago. With his early play on the field, Tucker should be a hot commodity this fall on a team full of shining stars.
