RB: Dallas Crawford has passed over Eduardo Clements as Duke Johnson's primary backup. It's been a back and forth battle all year. Clements was the number two guy here for the Florida game so it's a bit surprising that Crawford is back ahead of him.
WR: The three starters remain the same – Allen Hurns and Phillip Dorsett on the outside with Herb Waters in the slot. Stacy Coley is listed as the backup to two of those guys, with Waters also listed as a backup (to Dorsett). Clearly, Coley is No. 4 right now. Malcolm Lewis (No. 5) and D'Mauri Jones (No. 6) are also listed. Those two players have yet to see a target through two games, however. That's expected to change this Saturday.
OL: Seantrel Henderson (RT) and Jonathan Feliciano (LG) remain ahead of Malcolm Bunche for the fourth and fifth starter spots. Ereck Flowers (LT), Brandon Linder (RG), and Shane McDermott remain the top three guys. Alex Gall has taken over for Hunter Wells as the primary backup to Linder.
DE: Anthony Chickillo and Shayon Green remain the starters. David Gilbert remains Green's primary backup on the left side. Ufomba Kamalu and Jelani Hamilton (who was listed as a defensive tackle the first two games of the season) are now Chick's primary backups. Quan Muhammad and Tyriq McCord will remain the pass rushers when the team goes into a nickel defense.
LB: The starters remain the same, with Thurston Armbrister and Alex Figueroa still competing for the third starting spot. Kelvin Cain, who was first off the bench against Florida, continues competing with Raphael Kirby, who was first off the bench against FAU, for the backup mike linebacker spot behind Jimmy Gaines.
CB: Tracy Howard is now the team's No. 1 corner. Artie Burns has pulled even with Ladarius Gunter for the other starting spot. It'll be interesting to see if Antonio Crawford remains the nickel back if Burns earns the job opposite Howard. Nate Dortch has fallen from the top four group. Corn Elder is now listed as the 5th guy, not Dortch.
S: Rayshawn Jenkins remains one starter,, while Kacy Rodgers is still ahead of Deon Bush on the other side. When Bush is healthy and back in action, he's expected to join Jenkins in the starting lineup.
