Spring Ball - Day 2

Day two began at Dr. Phillips High School, where I watched standout wide receiver Ryan Moore for about 90 minutes.

At 6-2 and 170, Moore's not as big as most list him at (6-4, 180), but he's a big time football player.

With legit 4.45 speed, Moore's athletic ability is off the charts. He's an outstanding athlete who does everything at full speed. He has a very strong passion for the game and pays close attention to detail.

Talent wise, he's awesome. Moore has very big and soft hands, he runs excellent routes, he makes outstanding cuts, and can turn and run as well as any wide receiver this state has produced the last few years. He's also solid over the middle.

Doubling in track and basketball, Moore is a big time football player who will only get better as his body matures.

I left Dr. Phillips and made my way toward Kissimmee Osceola to watch defensive end Jimmy McCrimmon. However, their varsity practice got over 30 minutes early and I was unable to watch him. Oh well, I'll be sure to go back sometime later in the month.

The first two days of spring ball have gone very well, and I look forward to tomorrow. Stay tuned for that report. In the meantime, be sure to ask any questions on the message board.

My total spring milage log is up to 643 miles after two days.
