Williams preparing to be ready just in case

Ryan Williams has been forced into action a few times this season because of injuries to Stephen Morris. Read on to see what the junior quarterback is saying as he prepares for tomorrow's game against Georgia Tech.

On his preparation this week:
Nothing has really changed in terms of preparation. I'm just trying to stay prepared just in case.

On GT's defense:
They're a really good defense. They have a lot of veterans. 45 is a really good player, and we have to know where he is. It'll be a really good test.

On his confidence as the backup:
Just a lot of confidence knowing I can go out and pick up where we left off as a unit.

On spreading the ball around so well:
It's easy when you have people who attract so much attention like Duke Johnson. It helps other guys get open. You can't force things, and take what is there. You just have to play your game. You can't force it. Eventually it'll open up and you can take your chance.

On scoring so late against GT last season:
Just a bunch of excitement. I was waiting to see if we'd have another play. Once we scored everyone started running from the sideline. We got up early, had to fight out way back, and it took over from there.

On GT's defense:
They have a front seven, a veteran defense. It'll be a very tough game for us and I'm excited for it.

On how he's preparing this week:
I just prepare each week the same, regardless. Me and Stephen communicate about everything each week the same.

On James Coley from Jedd Fisch:
The main thing is he made it real simple in our transition from coordinators. He made some things similar so it'd be easy for us. Things like that have really helped.

On Coley's willingness to listen to players:
He's really open. He knows what we like, what should get called. He doesn't want to call something that we might not be comfortable with on the field.
