UM QB commit adds big offer

Brad Kaaya, one of the top quarterback prospects in the state of California, added a big offer last week. He added another one last night. Read on for the latest.

Brad Kaaya committed to the University of Miami back in the spring at a time when no other BCS schools had offered.

Kaaya, 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, has now become one of the most heavily recruited quarterbacks on the West Coast.

After UCLA offered him last week, Kaaya landed another big offer Sunday night.

"I am committed to The University of Miami, but would just like to say thank you to the USC coaching staff for offering me a scholarship," Kaaya announced.

The talented signal-caller has guided Chaminade High to a 4-1 record so far this season. In those five games, Kaaya has completed 85-of-145 passes for 1,477 yards, 10 touchdowns, and just two interceptions. He's also added a touchdown on the ground.

Kaaya remains strongly committed to the Hurricanes as of now.

"The offense fits me perfectly," said Kaaya about the Canes. "And the players I'd have around me would be some of the best."
