At 6-foot-2 and 275 pounds, Linder committed to the Hurricanes back in the spring and has been keeping close tabs on the team ever since.
"I've been to all the home games so far," Linder said. "I think it's huge for Miami to be 5-0. It really shows the difference of where the program is now. Everything is sinking in and things are going well."
The talented center prospect from St. Thomas Aquinas High is excited to carry on the Linder name at UM.
"Brandon's done well there and I'm excited to go in and continue the tradition," he said. "I really like the coaches, the school, and the direction of the program."
Linder, who doesn't plan to take any other recruiting visits, said he speaks to his position coach (Art Kehoe) and area recruiting coach (Mark D'Onofrio) every week.
Linder is Scout's 9th-ranked center in the Class of 2014.
