He is more quick than he is fast and he is best when he has the ball in space. He does not get great separation down the field when trying to outrun the defensive backs, but he when making cuts, he quickly creates a window for the quarterback to throw the ball into. He knows how to find the soft spot against zone coverage and he runs crisp, precise routes. Route running is a strength of his and he can get yards after the catch.
Height may be somewhat of a liability here, but he is very strong. He is compact, he can break the initial tackle, he is very shifty, and he is likely to be a weapon as a punt returner.
You worry a little about durability at his size going against bigger players week in, week out. When healthy and when used properly, he is a real weapon. He is ready now to help as a return man, he will likely compete early at slot receiver, and he could be a real weapon for the Hurricane offense down the road.
