UNC Post-Game: Denzel Perryman

Read on to see what junior linebacker Denzel Perryman, who finished the game with a team-high 12 tackles, said after last night's win over North Carolina.

On trailing at halftime:
It was tough. Offensively, I am not sure what they were telling those guys. Defensively, we had to stick together and just play our game.

On Dallas Crawford's final touchdown:
I was happy. We all jumped off the bench but at the same time we had to go out and defend their offense again. It's our job to compete until there are all zeros on the clock.

On UNC's final throw:
It looked like it was going out of bounds. 14 actually caught it but Tyrone knocked it out of his hands.

On UNC's tight end:
We just have to do our jobs. He's a great player. That's what kind of messed us up.

On what they learned:
We will fight until the end. Defensively, the game wasn't over for us. When Dallas scored, we knew we had to keep fighting as a team.
