Canes Flip USC Commit

The NCAA announced Miami's penalties today, which means they can put that behind them. It didn't take long for them to regain recruiting momentum, as they flipped a player from USC's commitment list and someone from the LA area.

Michael Wyche announced today that he has flipped his commitment from USC to Miami.

At 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, Wyche is originally from the state of Virginia. After not making the grade out of high school he enrolled at East LA College, where he's currently in his sophomore season.

Wyche, who committed to the Trojans during an unofficial visit back in the spring, flipped to Miami today. The Canes offered him back in the spring, and have a major need for interior defensive linemen in the 2014 class.

Wyche, who will have two years to play two for the Hurricanes beginning next season, becomes Miami's second Juco defensive tackle commitment, joining former Florida State signee Dalvon Stuckey.
