Already a known commodity in the 2015 class Byrnes wide receiver Tavin Richardson has excelled during his junior season. With that success he's picked up quite a few offers. On Monday that list of offers grew and he told us all about it.
"I got an offer from Kentucky," Richardson messaged.
"Their wide receivers coach Tommy Mainord offered me."
Asked what he likes most about the Wildcats Richardson had this to say, "I like that they are in the SEC football conference. That they are building up their program with recruiting and that they run the same offense as my high school runs. They throw the ball a lot so yes sir I like that a lot too."
Richardson says he plans on taking some visits soon but he hasn't lined anything up yet.
The 6'4 215 pound prospect has seen his offer list grow pretty quickly this season with his play. We asked him what aspects of his game have improved the most since his junior season started up till now.
"I'd say my yards after the catch, route running, and just being more explosive in general."
The Rebels host Dorman on Friday night and they boast another 2015 wide receiver who is leading the area in receiving yards and is a friend of Richardson's, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside.
So what will it take to defeat Dorman?
"We have to be more physical I think."
With a dozen offers now what school may be the next to offer Richardson?
"I think Michigan State could be next."
