Six Canes make ACSMA All-ACC Team

Six Miami Hurricanes were named to the 2013 All-ACC Football teams, announced Monday by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA). The 2013 All-ACC teams were voted on by 65 ACSMA members.

Junior linebacker Denzel Perryman and senior punter Pat O'Donnell were first team selections. Sophomore running back Duke Johnson, senior wide receiver Allen Hurns, and senior offensive lineman Brandon Linder were second team selections. Senior quarterback Stephen Morris was a third team selection.

Perryman finished the regular season with 104 total tackles, including five for loss.

O'Donnell ranks third nationally with a 47.3-yard punting average. 17 of his punts went inside the 20.

Johnson, who suffered a season-ending ankle injury against Florida State, ran for 920 yards and six touchdowns.

Hurns has 60 receptions for 1,138 yards. He became just the fourth player in school history to go over 1,000 receiving yards in a season when he reached that number Friday against Pittsburgh.

Linder, who played both right guard and right tackle for the Canes this season, is widely considered Miami's top lineman.

Morris has thrown for 2,868 yards and 21 touchdowns this season. He is Miami's third all-time leading passer.

Senior offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson, junior guard Jon Feliciano, sophomore cornerback Tracy Howard, sophomore safety Deon Bush, and freshman receiver Stacy Coley were Honorable Mention selections.
