The University of Miami accepted an invitation to play in the Russell Athletic Bowl at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando on Dec 28.

, President Shalala, the Board of Trustees, Coach Golden and our football program, we are honored to accept an invitation to play in the 2013 Russell Athletic Bowl," Miami AD Blake James announced Sunday night. "We're excited to play so close to home and look forward to Hurricanes fans painting Orlando orange and green."
The Hurricanes, who finished the regular season with a 9-3 record, will take on Louisville in the game.
It will be Miami's first bowl game since 2010 when they played Notre Dame in the Sun Bowl. The Hurricanes played Wisconsin in this bowl game at the end of the 2009 season.
Miami began bowl practices on Saturday. They'll be looking to win 10 games for the first time since the 2003 season.
