WR David Njoku -- The Canes are trying to add another big receiver to this year's class. At 6-foot-4, Njoku is one of the best in New Jersey. A one-time Rutgers commitment, Njoku visited Temple last weekend, hosted Ohio State in his home earlier this week, and started listing Rutgers again as a possible destination late this week. He's in Miami for the next couple days, and it'll be a great chance for Miami to make up a lot of ground.
DE Chad Thomas -- A five-star prospect from Booker T Washington High in Miami, Thomas committed to the Hurricanes over the summer. This is his first visit after helping his team win a state title last weekend. Alabama and Florida State will likely get January visits so it's far from over but the Canes seem to be in solid shape at this stage of the game.
DE Trent Harris -- One of the top pass rushers in central Florida this year, Harris committed to the Hurricanes over the summer. He never wavered, and this is his only scheduled visit. He plans to enroll into school next month.
DT Courtel Jenkins -- A nose tackle type of prospect, Jenkins committed to the Hurricanes back in the spring. He helped his team win a state title last weekend and this will be his first and only scheduled visit. He seems rock solid with his commitment, and told Scout last week that he's been recruiting hard for the Canes trying to help them land Hester.
LB Juwon Young -- One of the top linebacker prospects from the state of Georgia, Young picked Miami over several SEC schools back in the spring. He never visited anywhere else, and plans to enroll for the spring semester.
CB Kiy Hester -- One of the most heavily recruited players from the state of New Jersey, Hester is a big, physical cornerback prospect who helped his team win a state title last week. He's taken visits to Arkansas and Michigan State already, with a few more in mind for next month. He hasn't spent time here before, so this will be an important weekend for Miami in terms of trying to get him on board.
CB Nigel Bethel -- At 5-foot-9, Bethel is one of the top cover corners in south Florida this year. He helped Booker T Washington High win a state title last week. Bethel committed to the Canes back in the summer but then took in-season visits to West Virginia, Utah, and Texas Tech. Those three schools were unable to change his mind but he has been talking with Georgia and says if the Bulldogs offer he'll likely visit. For now, he's solidly committed to the Canes.
