Coach D talks Bridgewater, Louisville

Read on to see what defensive coordinator Mark D'Onofrio is saying a few days before his unit takes on Teddy Bridgewater and the explosive Louisville offense.

On Teddy Bridgewater:
He does a great job of making decisions. That's the first thing. He does a great job of getting the ball where it needs to go. He is very patient and throws very well on the run. Hes thrown just four interceptions so he makes good decisions and knows their plan.

On his ability to run:
You have to have certain coverages when you play a scrambling quarterback. He provides a challenge.

On Louisville's offense:
They're really balanced. They have good players at every position. They have good backs, tight ends, and receivers. It gives them a lot of options. Anytime you face an offense with that balance, it's a great challenge.

On getting pressure on Bridgewater:
We have to get pressure. We improved this year with 28 sacks. Some games we didn't get enough. We made some improvements and will continue doing that. It'll be important for us in this game.

On players knowing Bridgewater personally:
It's a chance to compete.. Our kids are excited about the opportunity and know what they're up against. Those kids being from Miami makes it even more exciting. They've won a lot of games the last couple years so it's a great challenge and our kids are excited about that.
