UM coaches all over New Jersey

The Hurricanes have been very successful in recruiting the state of New Jersey in recent years. Read on to see everywhere they've been, and who they've gone to see in that state.

The following information was compiled by Scout.com East Region Recruiting Expert Brian Dohn. It's been cut down to include only the places Miami coaches have been.

Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic
The Caseys have a prospect in each class, beginning with four-star offensive tackle Quenton Nelson (Notre Dame commit), 2015 linebacker Jamie Gordinier (Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Miami offers) and 2016 offensive lineman Liam Smith.

Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep
One of the top Catholic schools in New Jersey is home to running back Jonathan Hilliman (Boston College commit) and cornerback Shamir Beerfield (Temple commit), and a pair of four-star class of 2015 players in quarterback Brandon Wimbush and cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick, both of whom have double digit offers.

Colleges that came through include Georgia, Rutgers, Notre Dame, Miami, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Oregon, South Carolina, North Carolina, Boston College, Vanderbilt, Ohio State, Florida, Penn State, California, UConn and Arizona.

Newark (N.J.) Weequahic
Rutgers linebacker commit Sidney Gopre and Class of 2015 safety/running back Al-Kadair Ports are the top prospects at the school, Rutgers, Miami, Syracuse, Iowa, Michigan State and Virginia were each in to see them.

Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic
DePaul has loads of talent and coaches came through to check it out. Miami was in to see defensive tackle commit Courtel Jenkins and safety Kiy Hester, who committed to the Hurricanes. The Spartans also defensive end Justin Nelson (Rutgers commit) and the 2016 tandem of receiver/safety Haseise Dubois (Rutgers offer) and running back Kareem Walker (Rutgers, Penn State offers).

Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic
Northwestern commits Garrett Dickerson (tight end) and Kyle Queiro (safety/linebacker) and Princeton commit Kurt Holuba (defensive end) are the seniors, but the most intriguing prospect is class of 2016 quarterback Jarrett Guarantano (Rutgers offer).

Penn State visited the school twice and Northwestern, Duke, Miami, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Maryland and Michigan each stopped by.

Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco
Miami, Pittsburgh and Syracuse were all at the school to check on a number of underclassmen, including 2015 cornerback Daivon Ellison and 6-foot-9 Kevin Feder (Miami offer). Temple quarterback commit Frank Nutile and Virginia Tech offensive line commit Tyrell Smith were visited by their respective future schools.

Union (N.J.) City High
Class of 2015 offensive lineman Steven Gonzalez is approaching double digits and safety Daiquan Kelly holds an offer from Rutgers.

Miami, North Carolina, Syracuse, Penn State, Rutgers, Virginia, Ohio State, Pittsburgh and Maryland were at the school.

Barnegat (N.J.) High
Penn State was in to the Jersey Shore school to check on a trio of class of 2015 players in offensive tackle Sam Madden (double digit offers), linebacker Manny Bowen and quarterback/safety Cinjun Erskine (UMass, Miami offers).

Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph Regional
The talent-rich school played hosted to Penn State, Boston College, Rutgers, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Miami.
