"We'll see tonight but my knee feels fine right now" Green said after practice. Cornelius Green did some light jogging at the beginning of practice but did not participate in drills. Coack Coker said they would have word on his turf toe injury by Wednesday at the earliest.
Scott Puckett has a slight tear in his MCL and will be our three to four weeks. The guy in line to replace him is Joel Rodriguez. "Joel did a good job in the scrimmage and he'll be fine" said OL coach Art Kehoe. "Chris Myers will be taking some snaps as well. It is a shame because Scott has worked real hard" added Kehoe.
Coach Coker was still disappointed in the offense's ability to convert in the red zone. "We get ourselves in position but we're not finishing up" Coker said after practice. "We can't continue to kick field goals in those situations" added Coker.
