Crawford talks about the switch

Read on to see what senior safety Dallas Crawford, who was recently moved from running back, was saying following the first day of spring football.

On the move:
It's not foreign to me because I played safety three years in high school. I will do whatever it takes to help the team. Me and Rayshawn and Deon are back there competing.

On maybe moving back to RB:
I try to stay in both playbooks. I was blessed to be able to do both. Whatever it takes I'm willing to do it.

On Ryan Williams:
Ryan is a lot different than the other quarterbacks. You can read the eyes of the others. He's a top level quarterback. If I can get interceptions off him I'll be alright.

On his attitude:
This is my senior year so I'm looking to play and looking to take someone's spot. I'm ferocious. If the ball's in the air I am gonna come down to it. I don't have to worry about holding onto the ball now.

On day one:
It was a good day, making sure no one had mental mistakes. We are going in the right direction.

On when the move happened:
I kinda felt during the season it would happen but we never talked about it. It didn't just happen yesterday. This happened a couple weeks ago. My first couple months here I played safety so not a whole lot has changed.
