Canes offer Utah Lineman

This national offensive line recruit from the state of Utah was offered by Miami a few days ago. Read on to learn more about him, and what Miami's chances may be.

Andre James from Herriman, Utah told Scout that Miami offered him earlier this week.

6-4/275 at a combine earlier this year.

He ran a 4.8 shuttle and did 24 on the vert there as well.

He played on a team that went 6-6 and made the state playoffs in 2013. He started at OT and played some on defense (5 tackles, 0 no sacks), which was mostly in goal line situations.

He landed earlier offers from schools like UCLA, Washington, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. Miami offered him over the weekend. He's already being recruited nationally.

His grandpa played at Utah, and they were his first offer so they'll be in the mix. He also lived in Oregon for awhile and has a lot of early interest in them.

He's never been here so it'll be hard to determine how much interest he has until that happens.
